I purchased a 2005 Sea-Doo Speedster LE with the 130 HP Di engine. I have taken it in the Pacific Ocean and on lakes. The performance is amazing. The top speed with two grown men is right at 52 MPH. With a full load of four men and some gear, the top speed is right at 43-45 mph.
The only issue we have had is the starter motor sliding out of the motor. This happened three times this weekend on the lake.
The hole shot for pulling a skier is not that great. If you can hold on, it will get you up in time. Once up, the boat gives a great pull.
The boat turns on a dime even when going at full speed. All in all, she is a great boat and lots of fun.
Upgrades/Accessories: Installed a high performance stereo that rocks the hole beach.
